Happy April Fools’ Day! I promise there’s no tricks or slight of hand to be seen here today, just my goals for April! Let's get into it:
1.Finish First Edit of Book 1
I am about half-way through my first edit of the Forgotten Children of Avalon. I'm focussing on plot this time around and am hoping to finish this round of editing off during April.
2. Write 20K words
Progress on Corruption of Avalon, book two, is my main goal for this month. I hate first drafts.
3. Read 8 books
I begin April sitting at 19 books read so far this year. As a part of my reading goal for 2023 of 100 books, I will need to read 8 books in February to stay on track to achieve triple digits. I’ve adjusted my reading schedule to try fast-track my reading progress this month.
4. Finish pre-writing book 3
Since I completely forgot about this goal last month, it reappears for April. I’m about half-way through the plotting of Restoration of Avalon, so hopefully this is an easy goal to achieve.
5. Cover key reader topics on the blog
It’s come to my attention that I've been neglecting the readers who come to my blog in favour of writing posts on the craft of writing. So, this month I have some key reader topics I'm going to cover so that I can share my reading passion with you guys too.
